Thank you for considering Bezels Countryside Boarding.
When you make your booking you are entering into an agreement with us.
Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
  • When you make a booking request by email, in person or by telephone, a deposit payment of 50% of the total cost of boarding is required.  Your booking is not confirmed until we have received the agreed deposit.

  • Boarding fees are charged to include the day of arrival and departure regardless of the time of the day.  No reduction will be offered for early collection.  Costs will be incurred for late collection.  Payment must be settled in full before boarding.

  • Please note we do not accept cheques.  We do accept all major card payments types (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

  • Drop off and collection is by appointment only during office hours. The office is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and Christmas Eve.

  • We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us. Deposits are non-refundable, however, we appreciate that unforeseen circumstances do occur.  Should you need to cancel your booking please contact us to discuss.  We do advise that you check your pet and travel insurance policies as they may cover such circumstances.

  • Pets left in our care after the booked collection date with no communication from you, or your representative/s, will be deemed to be abandoned.  We will look to re-home any animal not collected within 14 days of the booked collection date.

  • If your pet requires regular medication during their stay you must inform us at the time of booking to discuss.  We are happy to give prescribed medicines as directed by you and your vets but will not give injections.

  • We seek veterinary advice or treatment if we suspect injury or illness while animals are under our care.  We do have a kennel Vet who will call or you are welcome to leave your own Vet's contact details.  You will also be asked to leave the details of someone we can contact in event of such an eventuality. You will be liable for costs incurred where veterinary attention is a result of a pre-existing medical condition, illness or injury.

  • We recommend that all pets receive routine flea and worming treatment – any fees resulting from preventable parasites will be the responsibility of the owner.

  • If you plan on boarding a very old or frail animal, please consult us before you book. Regretfully we will have to refuse to accommodate any animal which appears to be in an unsuitable condition for boarding. This applies to temperament as well as health.

  • All registered kennels are required by law to ensure that the animals boarded are fully vaccinated. We will need to see proof of vaccination on arrival, failure to provide a current vaccination certificate will result in your pet being refused entry and your booking will be charged to you in full.

  • We offer a range of dry and wet food options for cats and dogs, included in the price of boarding.  There is no price reduction when own food is supplied.

  • If your pet has a specific dietary requirement you are welcome to provide your own specialised food. We have chilled and frozen storage available. If you do provide your own food we will ask you to label it when you arrive and provide us with details on quantity and frequency.

  • We are willing to feed a raw food diet if you provide it, however, on veterinarian advice we will not feed raw food on the bone due to the potential risk of damage to the mouth and digestive system.   We understand that raw dog food diets are rising in popularity and we are interested in keeping up-to-date with research and market trends, however, safety is our prime consideration whilst your pet is in our care.

  • Some of the data gathered during the course of a booking may be held on a computer. We only hold personal data such as name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses and pet details, for the normal operation of our business.  Data is not shared or sold.

  • CCTV is used in public areas on the premises for the purposes of crime prevention. Images may be made available to the Police if so requested.
